2009 marks the 6th year I have been envolved with the Ohio Renaissance Festival and the 2nd year as their Queen.  2008 was very rewarding for me and I thoroughly enjoyed myself portraying Queen Elizabeth.  This year also marks our 20th Anniversary year and I am super excited about that.  Thanks to ORF I have met so many people, made so many new friends.  Found a second family to boot.  It takes something special to be a part of organizations such as Ren Faires or Historical re-enactment groups.  A real thrill to teach and entertain the masses.  A passion that few understand and unfortunately many scoff at.  Do not scoff at us.  We are in fact teachers and we love an audience to listen.  To learn.  To become involved.  It's not just about the history though, it's about entertaining.  It's about the rush you get when your in front of a huge crowd.. hanging on to your everyword.  It's about the laughter and the tears from the patrons to your fellow actors/re-enactors.  We are a very special group of people.  I have missed you immensely.  I can't wait for rehearsals!
